Chapter 4: Maintaining Your Amazing, Healthy White Smile
After Bonding
or Veneers
Regular check-ups are recommended to catch anything that may happen to your new smile, very early.
A night guard may be necessary to help you avoid clenching and grinding damage to your enhanced smile.
After
Whitening
To keep your smile bright and white you may want to avoid stain-causing foods and beverages such as coffee, tea, wine, colored drinks, berries, and tomato sauces and if you consume such items you may need to do a touch-up whitening treatment a couple of times a year to keep your desired whiteness. Smoking also causes tooth discoloration.
After Ortho
or Invisalign
To keep your teeth in the proper position, you will need to wear your retainer and schedule retainer check appointments as specified by Dr. Bertolini.
